Direct cremation
J.W. Binks & Sons Funeral Directors are pleased to offer a Direct Cremation service for those who either do not want a funeral service or ceremony, or are looking to keep costs to a minimum.
We are uniquely placed in Morley as the only funeral directors who can offer a hybrid solution: a service at our premises followed by Direct Cremation as soon as practicable. We do not make any charge for the use of our premises.
Unattended funeral (direct cremation)
This is a simple, dignified alternative to a traditional funeral, without a service or ceremony at the crematorium. We take care of every practical step on your behalf. The person who has died is brought into our care and transported to our premises, and from there to the crematorium in a suitable vehicle at the appropriate time. They are dressed in a gown and placed in a suitable coffin, and we handle all the necessary legal paperwork, including liaising with doctors where required. The cost of the cremation itself is also included, so there is nothing further to arrange once you have chosen this option.
